In the News

Since beginning her career as a general and cosmetic dentist in Manhattan, Dr. Catrise Austin has earned a reputation for designing stunning, Hollywood-inspired smiles. She has become the go-to person for many health and beauty magazine journalists who cover dental hygiene and cosmetic dentistry treatments such as teeth whitening and porcelain veneers. As an expert on oral health and a dentist to many celebrities, Dr. Austin's name has also appeared in numerous entertainment and style magazines.

Early in her career, Dr. Austin was featured in Essence magazine, where she was profiled as a general and cosmetic dentist to watch. In particular, she was applauded for her networking strategies, which helped her in building a celebrity clientele. Her client roster now includes such notables as singer Toni Braxton, season three winner of America's Next Top Model Eva Pigford, and music legend Isaac Hayes.

In 2003, when Self magazine featured celebrity beauty strategies, cosmetic dentist Catrise Austin was noted for making a backstage "house call" to hip-hop artist Missy Elliot, giving her a beautiful white smile just before a television appearance. Innovative, luxury VIP treatment, including her mobile dentistry services as well as her expert advice, continues to keep Dr. Catrise Austin in the spotlight.

More recently, in May 2005, Essence again requested Dr. Austin's expertise when the magazine did its first-ever spread on dental care. In particular, the New York cosmetic dentist was sought out for her expert advice on home-use dental hygiene products. Dr. Austin's client, model Lene Hall, was photographed for the article. That same month, Dr. Austin was quoted in Glamour magazine when it did a feature story on the rising popularity of teeth whitening.
